Gadgets Games And Cell Phone Review

Today, smart cell phones trend is never stopping the old vendors to launch low end cell phone in the market. One of them is Samsung SGH –M200 which is released at about $100.

In this estimated price, M200 have some some rivals which have been released before. They are Nokia 3110 classic and LG KE 770 shine. Next, we will compare the three of them, so we’ll find out who’s the best one.

Design
Looking at the theme design, over all they don’t have any significant differences. Three of them have candybar model with a little modification. LG and Samsung show more attractive design rather than Nokia. For material, we can say that M200 almost equal with 3110 classic, both use kind of plastic for cover material. Whereas KE770 look more luxurious by the combination of plastic and metal in a thin structure.

But, anyway for the comfortability in writing SMS, M200 and 3110 classic still become the leader. The big size and soft keypad absolutely better than a flat keypad with a small size.

Interface
About the main screen, each cell phone have different character. In quality, M200 hardware is not as good as 3110 classic and KE770. M200 only have TFT 65.536 colours 128 x 160 pixel with 1.9 inch display. Doesn’t equal with Nokia and LG which bring TFT 262.144 colours.

Unfortunately, the big resolution is used by KE770 bring negative impact. Unequal comparation between the resolution and the screen diagonal cause the pictures and fonts appearances become smaller. Of course, this is will disturb some users.

About menus display, the three trying to show the best by offering various theme. Anyway, they didn’t get away from the standart interface from each vendor.

Features

Messaging
If we compare the three of them in the way of messaging software, there’s no differences here. They are offering sms, mms and email. Suitable for you who don’t want to loose any contact. But unfortunately, like I said before, the keypad button could be a problem for a comfortability. M200 could be our choice if we more comfort with big font size. In this case, Nokia is in the second place and LG are the last choice.

Camera
For $100 cell phone, we have to be a little bit disappointed. Because although their camera resolution have been up to megapixel, they didn’t have autofocus feature. We know that fix focus on camera lens didn’t produce a focus picture.

The divergen area focus make picture sharpness become poor. And the most disturbing is the pictures quality are depend on our stability when capturing the objects. With a little shaking, the picture is gonna be hazy.

KE770 is good enough in lens resolution. The picture resolution could up to 1600 x 1200 pixel equal with 2 Megapixel. M200 and 3110 classic only have 1.3 megapixel camera. In the other side, KE770 is supported with shutter button in the right side. So we could frame the objects by push the button. M200 and 3110classis didn’t have this facility so if we want to capture the objects, we have to go on OK-button in the D-pad.

Beside photos, the three of them could also record the video. M200 is the most poor in quality. The maximum resolution is only 160 x 120 pixel, compare it with the others that could produce QCIF video resolution (174 x 144 pixel).

Music player
The three cell phones have completed by different format file music player. Nokia and Samsung have the same supported file. Beside MP3, they could execute AAC and WMA files. Whereas LG only support MP3 and AAC.
But don’t be wrong, LG provide such great music player. In LG we could control the sound output via equalizer, we coludn’t find like this in the others.

By the equalizer, output sound quality would be different when we listen it using speaker and headset. Each cell phone has different quality stereo headset. About who is the best, it’s very relative, depend on you.

Other multimedia
Beside camera and music player, Samsung and Nokia have FM Radio. The software seem didn’t have significant differences. LG didn’t have this facility but it could play MP4 formatted video player. Of course not all MP4 file could be played, the bitrate and framerate are conformited with the capacity.

For memory space, Samsung, Nokia and LG provide Micro SD slot as additional memory. It’s enough to save photos, musics, and videos.

Connectivity
In general, the three cell phone have no various connection facillities. They have the newest version Bluetooth and USB. They all have been supported by A2DP connection. But nokia also have infrared port as an alternative connection.

Internet
These cell phone have the same data canal for browsing activities. GPRS 10 and EDGE support us when we send emails, browsing or download file from the internet. Unfortunately, the browser still didn’t support html. So some sites couldn’t appeared well.

Battery
Nokia 3110 classic is supported with big capacity battery up to 1020 mAh. Whereas Samsung and LG have smaller capacity, 800 mAh lithium ion battery. In this case, there’s one question because LG spend more energy than others.

We’ve know more about the three products, the three offering the same thing with different styles. So, it’s all up to you.
