Gadgets Games And Cell Phone Review

Nokia E75 is the newest bussines cell phone which is released after E71. Some tools and interface were improved, so the users would not trapped only in a single function. Something that is forgotten by the competitors including Blackberry.

Bring the same features with the previous E71 doesn’t mean that this cell phone is not deserve to be considered. Nokia E75 give us two different input modes, so the user has options to operate the cell phone.

Design

Compared with the previous Nokia E71, E75 doesn’t has a wide shape just like in Blackberry and PDA. The advantage, it would make us easy to hold it by one hand. If we need a wider keyboard to typing documents or chatting with a high speed, we could use QWERTY keyboard that hide in the cellphone slider. From the appearance, we would see that Q,A and Z are placed in the same column, something usual in Nokia QWERTY keyboard. Unfortunately, this keyboard doesn’t bring control function like in HTC Touch Pro. So, for accessing the menus, we have to use d-pad in the main body. But it doesn’t matter if we only use it for typing messages or documents. In general, the cell phone material is dominated by metal. But the smaller size make this cell phone is more comfortable to be hold and put in the pocket.

Interface
Just like most Nokia bussines cell phones, Nokia E75 simple review comes with Symbian S60 3rd edition operating system with the newest feature pack. We would find somethings new here, one of them is in menu placement that different with other products. The function for collecting similar features in a folder, but it would be confusing for those who have become accustomed to E71. But, by Symbian S60 we could edit the placement manually by ourselves.

A general high-end Nokia screen is offered by E75. A 2.4 inch screen with TFT 16 millions colours and QVGA resolution. Blackberry Bold has 2 times bigger resolution from this, and HTC Touch Pro has 4 times bigger resolution. For control facilitiy, E75 has d-pad , alphanumeric keypad in ahead and qwerty keyboard which hide in the back slide.

Hardware
Looking deeper about E75’s tools, we would see brain of the cell phone superiority that is in a 11 3669 MHz processor. The quality is equal with other Nokia business cell phones. About memory space, E75 has 50 MB space for the users. E71 has two times larger.

High Features

Nokia email
From this now on, Blackberry has known as a product which could support email function well. Beside that, it is facilited by the operator and make email activity becomes easier by cell phones. Nokia gives more attention for this. Several months ago, Nokia announced that Nokia email could be used. The activating procedure is not difficult and could be done fast if we use APN operator facility. The email could be also sent in real-time. Not different with Blackberry. For those who don’t use much sending and accepting email, the use of APN operator actually save more money than Blackberry APN. If we calculate, 5000 rupiah everyday for 10 until 20 receiving messages, seems too expensive isn’ it ? But we need to know that Nokia email only facilitate email activity, not in other areas such as chat or facebook.

Mobile office
Nokia is very experience in facilitating document files. Nokia always support their products with Quick Office since old E series. There is no problem with the appearance, where we could change the position, portrait or landscape as we need. The file types are still the same, word, excel, and power point. While, PDF file would be executed by separated feature called Adobe PDF Reader LE.

Internet and Connectivity
There’s no reason to be worry about this side, because all business service are available here include the network, email and complete connectivities. 3G HSDPA technology with 3.6 mbps speed is a weapon to give a high speed data transfer. Beside that, email sending and video streaming could be done without any problemmes. If we are in the hot spot area, we could use WIFI with easy profile and usage. Different with iPhone 3G, this cell phone bring Bluetooth support A2DP for connectivity options.

Multimedia
Although E75 is kind of business cell phone, it still bring multimedia features with outstanding perform. For example, 3.2 megapixel digital camera has completed some important features such as autofocus and flashlight. At least, we could use it to frame some moments with a good quality. The camera also could use for recording VGA resolution video with 30 fps framerate. It means that the result would be solid with a stable speed which is equal with DVD quality. Next about the Nokia music player.

Well, the appearance is not as attractive as N series player, but this is capable enough to compete today. A complete sorting file and Now playing display with ID3Tag information is the right words to show it. Something unusual is 3.5 mm audio port that is usually brought by Nokia N series or Xpressmusic. So this is a good news for you who are looking for a business cell phone with multimedia support. Beside that we are provided FM radio. Nokia has radio names data all over the world, so we don’t need to set up or save the radio stations manually. All we need just choose the city we lived, then the radio stations would be saved automaticly.

A-GPS
Nokia gives GPS receiver in this cell phone. The capability is supported by A-GPS or cellular informations via bts. The accuration is not as correct as portable GPS, but it is well enough if it’s used in a big city because it is supported also with Nokia Maps.

Battery
E75 only has 1000 mAh battery capacity, lower than E71. with Lithium ion material, it doesn’t seem compatible with the perform. For once charging, this cell phone could stand for 1.5 days.

Conclusion
Nokia E75 comes in the right time. In the competitions, Nokia Mail is very interesting. The complete features also become the weapon to attract the consumers. However, E75 use Symbian S60 which combine E66 and E71 capability where interface and the third party support not become a problem anymore.
