Long time before Blackberry is becoming popular in the world, the needs of business in cell phones have been supplied by some vendors. Not quite far from Blackberry facilities, these products also have QWERTY keyboard.

From medio of 2007 until 2009, the world has recognize many business gadgets which is based on Windows Mobile, Symbian even Java. Today, they are offered in friendly prices. By this offering and supported by some business facilities, they could be a good choices for many consumers.

There are 3 cellphones review at this time, come from different ocean. Samsung i600 from Asia, Nokia E63 from Europe and Motorola Q9h from America. They have equal in price and deserve to be considered for many businessman.

Design
These cell phones have similar design, candybar-card type. It means that they have candybar mode but inclined to be wider. Based on the size, Samsung and Nokia are smaller than Motorola. So, they are easier to be hold Motorola Q9h.

Samsung i600 wellknown as the slimmest business cell phone at that time, even if it’s compared with E63 which come after it, Samsung is still the slimmest one.

Samsung has 2 unique desaigns. It could be slim if it use slimmy battery with 1100 mAh capacity. In another time, we could use additional battery which is thicker in size with 1800 mAh capacity. So, for facilitating this, Samsung i600 prepare 2 different battery covers.

Whatever it is, QWERTY keyboard is the most important point to be known from these cell phones design. Based on the the size and button position, Motorola Q9h is suitable for those who have big fingers size. But talking about comfortability, Nokia E63’s QWERTY keyboard is the winner. Because it use pure rubber material.

In screen area, these cell phones provide landscape orientation. No wonder, because they are made for giving us comfortability in typing and editing any document files and also for internet browsing.

Then how about the appearances quality ? By Symbian operation system we could guess that Nokia are more attractive in resolution changes and in colour depth. So, with TFT QVA 16 millions colours is more than enough for E63 to pass by both competitors.

Operation system
2 from the three cell phones use Windows Mobile for operating system and one left use Symbian. So, it’s all depend on your needs and habbits.

Samsung i600 use Windows Mobile 6.0 smartphone for opeting system. The interface should be different from PDA with Windows Mobile Pocket PC. The main difference is in the screen. PocketPC has use touchscreen, but it’s not the same with Smartphone.

So do with Motorola Q9h which use the same operating system. While Nokia E63 use the newest Symbian 3rd edition which use pack 2 features. The performing is equal with other Symbian 3rd products, especially in E-series.

Processor and Memory
The right processor is more valueable than fast processor. In Samsung i600, the processor didn’t give the best action for supporting Samsung’s perform.

Nokia E63 is the best from the three cell phones. Campared with other Symbian cell phones, it is very usual, but if it’s compared with both competitors, Nokia’s processor perform well.

About performing, over all they are good. There’s no big problem, but in Samsung i600, sometimes the system work slowly especially when we open multimedia or document files. But it could be handled.

Other thing that could influence cell phons performing is memory. Nokia prepare 128 MB SDRAM for saving space. Motorola Q9h only has 98/ MB RAM and Samsung with 64 MB RAM.

Office support
Basicly, although these cell phones support office documents such word, excel , power point and even PDF, each of them has different character. Nokia, Samsung and Motorola use the third party features. Nokia bring Quick office and Adobe PDF Reader, Motorola Q9h bring document To Go from Data Viz like in Blackberry, while Samsung use Picsel Viewer.

Looking from the performing, Document To Go in Motorola Q9h is the best. This application could handle all document types without exception, without any other applications. Compared it with Nokia which still need Adobe Reader separately to open PDF files. But in another documents process, both are the same in perform. While Picsel Viewer in Samsung only could open the file without editing capability.

Email
Nokia has been supported by Nokia Messaging feature which could accommodate our html email being send directly from the cell phone by push mail facililty.
For this service Samsung i600 prepare PUSH service (http://push.web.id). It’s mentioned that this is a paid push mail service and we are gave acess to try it for some bytes. Unfortunately, when we check the web doesn’t exist. Without this services, we could only use pullmail methode by Exchange. This is the same with Motorola Q9h.

Connectivity, Internet and data acess
Motorola and Samsung have brig 3.5 G data acess technology although in different capacity. Motorola prepare 3.6 mbps speed and Samsung has 1.8 mbps. This is more superior than Nokia which use 3G network with 384 kbps speed.
In other side, although Motorola Q9h has use HSDPA, it didn’t have WIFI acess. So in this case, Nokia and Samsung are better.

Nokia and Motorola have microUSB for connector, while Samsung still use their traditional connector. It must be very busy for us if we lose this cable.

Multimedia
Samsung and Motorola bring equal multimedia applications. It because they use the same operating system. But Nokia is better because the flexibility of the operating system.

Nokia and Motorola bring 2 megapixel camera. Both didn’t provide complete photograph features. Talking about quality, they ‘re almost the same, but Nokia could give e better pictures colour because of the software.
Samsung only give 1.3 megapixel camera with usual features, and the quality is under the competitors.

Battery
Samsung is supported by the best battery capacity rather than other cell phones. There’s 1100 mAh battery capacity and 1800 mAh additional battery. If we use the biggest one, it could standby at least for 3 days in once charging. One day longer than the competitors.

Conclusion
If we are looking for QWERTY keyboard cell phones with low price, they could be our choices. Nokia as the latest product with many features didn’t support HSDPA netwotk. Then in Motorola, we wouldn’t find any WIFI connection. By it’s big size, sometimes it cause difficulty for those who have small hands. Samsung is superior in design side by providing 2 different appearances. But the capability for executing document files is become main problem for Samsung. So, it’s depend on you!!!
