Design

Design concept of LG KM380T is not up to date inovation. Its proof by old vendor Ericsson had used this style in its products for few times. Active flip part is used as design sweeter, which actually its form is candy bar. But, for this time, the up to date style has added some function at flip area. Such as LG KM380T or Sony Ericsson W350i.

Inside, standard keypad will appear with structure like RAZR Motorola style. Unfortunately, rubber material is felt bouncing when pressed. So, writing message is less comfortable.

The resolution is enough big, 320×240 pixel (QVGA). That’s sharp and clear, but still smooth in sight.

For interface sector, LG KM380T provides cool performance with new style. The colour of Graph and games icon is enough attractive. In every menu icon, there is number that deputize of keypad. That meaning is every menu which is according to each number of keypad, can be accessed by keypad like shortcut.

Likely, LG want to follow the step of Sony Ericsson to give music features at mobile phone. The proof, interface of player music in KM380T like player of Walkman Sony Ericsson. Music player of it is even has the ability to show tag of songs and art album. Setting of song playlist according to artis, album and genre is also owned.

To activate the music player, you just push media button in surface of flip. Or you can press special shortcut in right side of body. Actually, the function of both buttons is same, to activate music feature. But the button in flip has double function, another one is as ‘back’ button.

Because it has multitasking function, you still can access other menu without close music player. Just open flip, you can explores directly other features fluently.

Talking about quality, music player of LG KM380T is enough good. Sound out of loudspeaker is enough hard. This player also provides setting ‘Natural Sound’ which is a result of colaboration with  musician Mark Levinson.

LG KM380T becomes camera 1.3 MPx as its weapon in photograph. The optimal resolution of picture which can be taken by this camera is 1280×960 pixel. There is not special button which is dedicated for taking picture in landscape mode like digital camera. So, like other camera mobile phone, you have to use the center of D-pad button as camera shutter.

Not like viewfinder of some Nokia mobile phone that is often painted noise, the screen power of LG can attends viewfinder as clear as the original picture. That is so nice to mobile phone with price Rp. 1,3 millions. But, to take picture in less light place, the quality is not good. That is caused, it doesn’t have flash.

Not only to take photo, but also Camera KM380T can creates moving picture (video). The format is 3gp, with record duration unlimited, it depends of memory capacity that available. Fortunately, LG KM380T gives slot of addition memory, microSD type.

Other Entertainment Features

LG KM380T also gives FM radio as alternative of entertainment. Unfortunately, this feature is not inculcated RDS technology, which actually can be used to find some information about radio station.

Attractly, you can use addition headset except the standard handsfree to activate this radio feature. So, you can has headset 3.5 mm which can connect it directly to portjack of this mobile phone to listen radio broadcast.
