In my day, if you wanted to view some Ms. Page photographs, you had to stand on your tip toes and rummage BLINDLY in your dad’s upper sox drawer [What am I doing in your bedroom, dad? Nothing!!! Just looking for some sox!!!]. Nowdays, you see girls dancing in clubs with a photo of Betty (with a gag in her mouth) on their tee shirts!!!

I keep reminding people. Betty Page isnt DELIBERATELY dressing seductively—women in the early sixties (think MAD MEN)actually dressed like that!!! This was the era before Panty Hose where women had to forever ‘adjust’ themselves (Bras, garters, nylons). FYI, we had a retirement party for one of the head nurses. She said in 1962, when she clocked in as an LVN, they all wore hospital white with matching caps and nylons with seems and they all had to line up (like they do in bordellos) where the hospital administrator used to review their GIG lines. I told Evelyn “I would have KILLED to have that job. She said excuse me?” I said, I would have made a GREAT INSPECTOR (I have a serious NURSE Fetish). I would have been CRUEL but…fair!!! Kinda Sorta.
